Pinhoti Trail Hike Heflin, Alabama

This last week we traveled to the Talladega National Forest and hiked part of the Pinhoti Trail near Heflin, Alabama. Adams Canyon, Utah
While in beautiful Utah we took our first family hike on a trail called The Adams Canyon Trail. What we thought was going to be a 3 hour 3.5 mile there and back trail ended up being a 6 hour 7 mile trail there and back. The trail was pretty strenuous and a little scary in spots… there were sharp drop offs and steep, rocky climbs… both up and down the mountain. Overall we really enjoyed the hike and beautiful scenery. The next day Patrick and I were super sore, but the kids were hopping around just fine. We can’t wait to do some more trails!
