Winter Storm Atlas: Cheyenne, Wyoming
[wp_ad_camp_2] Winter Storm Atlas was forecasted to bring us lots of snow here in Cheyenne! We spent the days before playing in the sun, getting the RV ready for the freezing temperatures and preparing for the snow! Fortunately it wasn’t as bad as it was forecast, but these Texans still got to have a little snowy fun! The night before the boys set bowls out to catch fresh snow so that we could make some snow-treats! First, we made snow-cream! New Year’s Day: Cloudcroft, New Mexico
Cloudcroft, New Mexico Nestled in the mountains of New Mexico is Cloudcroft. On our way from Carlsbad, New Mexico we decided to take a more scenic route to get to Gila Bend, Arizona. We stopped on New Year’s Day just outside of Cloudcroft, New Mexico at Rio Penasco RV Park in Mayhill with the intention of playing in the fresh snow in Cloudcroft and relaxing for a few days. Hill Air Force Base, Utah
So far we really like Hill Air Force Base, Utah. We stay at Fam Camps since we are military affiliated. This family camp is acceptable. The camp host is a little lazy and things do not get done in a timely manner, but the sites are level and it is in a great location. We are across the street from the gym, next to the track and field as well as next to the playground and splash park… which would be convenient if it weren’t in the 30’s outside! We have met some great people here so far and are looking forward to meeting more! The boys are loving the snow… and…
