We are Texans and if you know anything about Texans it’s that we like our spices! These jalopeno poppers will hit the spot if you are looking for something spicy and Paleo friendly for your next barbecue get together or tailgate party! The traditional stuffed jalopenos have cheese of some sort in it. Pre-paleo we stuffed it with everything from Boursin to cream cheese to cheddar. Sausage Stuffed Peppers!
Sausage stuffed peppers! Ingredients: – One Egg – Ground Pork Sausage (or season ground pork) – Large Jalopenoes or Sweet Peppers – Bacon – Coconut Oil (We use refined) Instructions: Mix meat and egg together (Add any spices you wish to add) Slice peppers length-wise and remove veins and seed! Stuff Peppers with meat mixture Wrap with Bacon Fry in oil bacon seem side down first until crispy. Then use tongs and flip to cook backside! Serve with a vegetable! Want to lose weight?
