Coconut Oil Coffee!
Coconut Oil coffee! I recently started adding organic, unrefined coconut oil to my coffee in the morning. I use it in addition to my creamer, but some people use it alone with honey or other natural sweeteners. The trick is to Coconut Oil Coffee is to BLEND it using a blender or bullet type device. The result is frothy, creamy, delicious coffee! Try it! Blending it instead of stirring it keeps it from separating. **Update… I stated adding about a tsp-tbsp of organic grass-fed butter to my coffee as well. It gives it a wonderfully creamy texture! Not only is it delicious, but Dr. Oz recommends it because “Studies have show…

There are a lot of different recipes for this, but I used what I had on hand! Ingredients: Fresh SNOW, Sweetened condensed milk and Maple Syrup! The boys added some…

The boys wanted to know where the kids’ room was! lol This is the first time we have seen such a huge collection of wagons! We especially loved the undertaker’s wagon and the milk wagon. Grant took his weekly bath. 🙂 They played in the playroom while Patrick and I went back through and looked at some of the cool, old wagons. ... and apparently cowboys are supposed to be tough and mean. While we were there we watched a rather long (and…

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Cheyenne, Wyoming
a style=”text-align: center;” href=”http://happilyuprooted.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/DSC_0251.jpg”> Number one on our Cheyenne, Wyoming Bucket List is the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens! The boys and I decided to check it out while Patrick was at work. The gardens were beautiful and well kept, but what the kids REALLY loved was the Paul Smith Children’s Village. As we entered the children’s village we were met with blooming flower, plant, and vegetable gardens! The three-quarter acre piece of land was jam-packed with interactive things for children to do! The 1930’s era building located in the rear of the gardens has an old rock wall attached to it that forms the “secret garden”. Even as an adult it felt…
