I am so excited! I have been eyeing Stitch Fix for a while, but as I was losing weight I was slightly outside their scope of sizing. Now after losing 125 pounds I am able to be styled by Stitch Fix! They style up to a 14/16 and X-large! They are also looking to extend their sizes, but it hasn’t happened yet. I was nervous at first. My body is not shaped like a model and I definitely have “trouble areas”, but I set aside my concerns and let stitch fix do their thing! Here are the steps you take to sign up for Stitch Fix:

1) Sign up for an account here:  Stitch Fix Account Sign-up!

2) Fill out your Style Profile. This will include questions about preferred item pricing, sizing, colors, etc and you can leave a personal, more detailed note to your stylist!

3) Order your first fix! Pick your date that you would prefer it to be delivered. At this point you will be charged a $20.00 styling fee. If you choose to keep any items from your box the styling fee is applied to that item making it $20.00 less!

4) Receive your fix in the mail! Try your items on and decide what you want to send back or keep. You have three days to do this! Your fix contains a postage paid envelope to return your items back to Stitch Fix! After you have decided what to keep and what to send back log into your account and go to checkout. This is where you leave feedback and notes about the items you received!

5) Schedule your next fix! While you CAN receive a fix monthly, you can also choose to receive it two months, three months, etc, out. I wish there was an option for twice a month!

I have to say. I honestly thought that I was going to order my Stitch Fix and not a single thing was going to fit or look right. I was so wrong! I wasn’t sure on sizing, whether to pick large or extra large, but luckily they also ask for you weight and height and I think that helps to fit you in the correct clothing! It turns out that everything fit, but a few of them I didn’t love enough to keep. I made a deal with my self that if I didn’t love it I was not going to add it to my already tiny RV closet! For this fix I chose to keep 2 out of 5 items that were sent! I feel like that is extremely awesome considering I expected nothing to work for me on my very first fix! This summer we have had an awesome time as a family participating in the Fulltime Families Summer Scavenger Hunt sponsored by Lazydays the RV Authority! My friends have noticed all the fun pictures on Facebook and want to know where they can find the lists for each week! With permission from Fulltime Families I have printed them below and a free printable PDF is coming! While this was done online it can easily be translated to an offline game between friends or a group! It was so much fun! We still have one more week left to go, so I will update week 4 when we finish! Have fun and good luck!

This Family Scavenger Hunt is Sponsored by Lazydays, The RV Authority.

Complete this scavenger hunt by taking a photo of each item on the list. There are 100 items, plus a final family portrait (#101). You must submit a separate photo for each item. Your family portrait must be your final photo.

You do not have to be full-time on the road to participate.

This is meant to be fun and stretch you as a family. This is a four week game. Creative thinking is encouraged, but no substitutions.

The items were chosen to be fun, challenging and educational.

1. You must submit one photo per item. One photo cannot represent multiple items.

2. The photo must be of the assigned item, no substitutions are allowed. However, creative thinking is encouraged.

3. The list item number and description must be in the title and/or the description

4. Tag each item with “#lazydaysRVhunt” and the item number in the following format “#ftfld38“. Please follow this exact format. When entered correctly, Facebook will turn the tag into a blue link.  We will use these tags to credit players points.  Incorrectly marked pics will not be counted, however you will be given the opportunity to edit and resubmit with proper hashtags.
5. The Family Portrait must be your final photo (#101), the rest can be taken out-of-order.

Number one on our Cheyenne, Wyoming Bucket List is the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens! The boys and I decided to check it out while Patrick was at work. The gardens were beautiful and well kept, but what the kids REALLY loved was the Paul Smith Children’s Village.

As we entered the children’s village we were met with blooming flower, plant, and vegetable gardens! The three-quarter acre piece of land was jam-packed with interactive things for children to do!

The 1930’s era building located in the rear of the gardens has an old rock wall attached to it that forms the “secret garden”. Even as an adult it felt like something straight out of a children’s book. Built into the side of the “secret garden” was a puppet theater where Grant made a new friend: Mr Rabbit. They enjoyed singing together and making jokes! Owen also joined in on the puppetry fun!

In the midst of the natural wetlands was a bridge that the kids had to pull from one side of the pond to the other to load and off-load each other. The boys had so much fun on this and made a ton of friends!

And of course there was FLOWERS! I especially loved this part of our adventure! While the kids played checkers and tic-tac-toe I walked around and enjoyed nature’s beauty!

We made it to state 30: Louisiana! We wanted to stop by the Duck Commander in West Monroe, Louisiana. We pulled in around dark and stayed the night at a campground 5 miles from Duck Dynasty Duck Commander headquarters! We got up in the morning and went and had breakfast and on to the Duck Commander warehouse!

The Duckmen weren’t there as it was the season premier of Duck Dynasty season 4 and the whole family was in New York! I was a little sad because I had my heart set on meeting Si! There wasn’t really much to the “tour”. There was really just a souvenir shop, the trailer and the “Duck commander, Buck commander” sign. That was it! Oh, and the worlds largest duck call was displayed in the lobby! We took some pictures, bought some shirts and went back to the RV to pack up and head north to Wyoming!

Need:

Pasta (Any shape or size)

Food coloring (I used Wilton gel)

Isopropyl alcohol or hand sanitizer

Ziploc Bags

Instructions:

Take a handful of pasta and place in Ziploc bag.

Add a dab of coloring (or a few drops of liquid coloring)

Add a few drops of alcohol or hand sanitizer.

Close bag and move pasta around to distribute color evenly.

Open bag and lay pasta out on drying rack. We allowed ours to sun-dry.

Ingredients:

6 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal

5 1/2 cups Jet-Puffed Marshmallows

5 Tbsp BUTTER (Real butter not Margarine)

Instructions:

In a large pot on very low heat melt the butter.

Allow butter to turn slightly caramel colored with a strong nutty aroma.

Add marshmallows and stir, stir, stir until completely melted. Don’t allow to burn.

Take off burner and add in cereal. Mix well.

Turn out into a pan lined with parchment paper. I used my 9×9 stoneware, but any pan with sides will do.

Allow to cool and cut up into squares!

ENJOY! Yuuummm… the kids love these!

They are so creamy on the inside with a crunchy chocolate shell!

Ingredients:

1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons butter
1 lb dipping chocolate

Instructions:

Cream together sugar, peanut butter and butter.

Roll into 1.5 inch balls

Freeze until stiff

Melt Chocolate in a double boiler

Dip frozen peanut butter balls in chocolate and let cool on wax paper.
